What is is inbody?....Body composition analysis is essential to completely understand health and weight as traditional methods of assessing health, such as BMI, can be misleading. Going beyond your weight, body composition analysis breaks down your body into four components: fat, lean body mass, minerals, and body water. It’s very quick....and included in all our programs.

"This post is for the people out there that lose a little weight and get comfortable and happy with some loss and stop! That was me on the left... I had lost 20 pounds by doing some minimal cardio (running) and drinking a weight loss supplement! I was a success at this point! But I had not grasped the healthy life I really deep down wanted for myself... I wasn't ready and I didn't make the changes necessary to actually get healthy like I thought I was! After gaining the 20 back I reached out of my comfort zone and I got a great trainer... joined two gyms, stayed active daily, meal prepped weekly and wrote my gym schedule on the family calendar as a priority like everyone else's activities! I stopped the cycle! I wanted health and strength and with my families support and the love and guidance of Ashley I am living it! Now almost one year later I am confident to say I am that success! But here is the key.. there is no stopping... it becomes your life! Surround yourself with it and just want it bad enough that you never quit trying and you too can look back a year later and see that you loved yourself better and deeper than you ever have before! Healthy has begun and I love it! Also, because Ashley has helped me and I have my physical therapist assistant degree and state license I decided to become a certified personal trainer!
"Hi my name is Kerri I’m 48 and a mother of five boys and this is the story of my fitness journey. I’ve always been a relatively active person I liked to work out doing things outside and with five boys I was always on the go. At some point I started putting myself on the back burner and being a mother and wife took priority over taking care of myself, as the years flew by it took a toll on my body, and I started having health problems including: stomach issues, neck pain, and just plain worn down. I came to a breaking point about three years ago and called my friend Ashley who is the owner of Dedicated Strength Gym. I found out that she had become a personal trainer so I reached out for some help. I started training with her a couple days a week. One on one sessions turned into me signing up for her first Boot Camp challenge. That’s where my life turned around and I entered her 8 week challenge challenge losing 10 pounds in two months. I signed up for the next challenge loosing another 10 pounds! I was hooked not only on the Boot Camp and working out but also the lifestyle making better much choices, eating better, and taking care of myself. This also led me to taking better care of my family and I had tons of energy and felt healthy for the first time in years. Dedicated Strength had became my happy place and my second family. We motivate each other, keep each other accountable, encourage and learn from one another. It’s made such a big impact on my life I actually resigned from my full time job to pursue personal training. I got certified and now hold my personal trainer. I am now certified through ISSA myself. My total weight loss is 30lbs, going from 180lbs to 150lbs. I increased my muscle mass and dropped from 38% body fat to 19%. I love what I do and how I can help people find their motivation and passion to live healthy. I can’t thank my friend Ashley and her little gym for making such a big impact on my life."
"On March 4th of this year I found myself crying my eyes out while laying in bed with no energy. Days I wouldn't work I would drop my kids off at school and climb back into bed until it was time to pick them up. I had gained all the weight back I had lost doing a Bootcamp style workout a couple years ago. I was seriously tired of being tired. I got emotional every time I tried to find something to wear since all my clothes were too tight. That day I decided I had to make a change. I am not working so didn't think I could afford to do the Bootcamps. I reached out to Ashley on Facebook messenger to get details of Dedicated Strength. I called my husband and he told me to do it!
I try to hang onto each piece of advice Ashely and her team gives. I was determined that this time I would stick to it no matter what. I decided it had to be a lifestyle change and not just to lose some weight. I changed my mindset that food isn't going to be a reward for me it is going to be what fuels my body. I listen to their advice and try to stick to no carbs after 12 noon. I have my meals packed with protein and veggies. I also drink 2 protein shakes per day. One usually mid morning with iced coffee and the other mixed with water only at bed time. I have made drastic changes to my diet but nothing unreasonable. I plan ahead for trips away or nights at the ball park. I carry almonds with me everywhere I go just in case I get hungry. My first challenge I lost 11 1/2 pounds and 3% body fat. I lost muscle which kind of bummed me out. So that has been my focus this last 4 weeks. I try to do something active everyday whether it be Bootcamp, lifting weights at the gym, or walking to Starbucks (which is a 5 1/2 mile round trip walk from my house). I have full support of my Superhero Hubby who helps encourage and motivate me on a daily basis. I feel so blessed to get to workout beside him. It truly has strengthened our marriage! I wear my TC1 gel and belt and come ready to kick butt at each Bootcamp! Each movement I try to push myself to get the most out of it. I wanted to jump for joy yesterday when I did my weigh in and found out I gained 2 pounds of muscle and lost 4% body fat in these 4 weeks. So my advice... Listen to Ashely and her amazing team she has assembled. They know what they are talking about."
